A single mother at 17, she was once told her life was over. Granddaughter of a Black grandfather, she grew up in a humble family in the far east of São Paulo and was determined to create better opportunities for her daughter. She earned a degree in Bilingual Executive Secretariat and a postgraduate degree in International Advisory, and she is currently pursuing a degree in History, an old passion. Starting from a young age, she grew and stood out in her profession, eventually becoming an executive assistant to the executive committee of the largest bank in Latin America, a dream come true. This year marks her 25th anniversary in the profession. Through her journey, she learned that being different is an asset that helps develop competencies essential to thriving in the profession. She has always embraced her own diversity, even before understanding its importance. She created two social projects focused on the homeless population (Pés Descalços and Dia Sem Fome).
Today, she is an ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, actively engaged in initiatives to make work environments more respectful, inclusive, and sustainable, believing that inclusion leads to better outcomes for everyone. She is also an organizing member of Café das Secretárias, a project aimed at secretarial professionals. Her hobbies include reading, she already read 52 books in a year, discovering new places, and visiting museums and restaurants with her 24-year-old daughter Júlia, who is proudly a veterinary graduate. Daniela has been married for a year to Ricardo and is also a stepmother to Maria Clara.
